Client-Side Data Architecture

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Version 2.4

1. Core Privacy Commitment

At PixelCraft Studio, we fundamentally reject the industry norm of uploading sensitive user imagery to third-party cloud servers. Our core suite of 80+ image editing, compression, conversion, and metadata tools executes entirely inside your web browser using modern HTML5 Canvas 2D and high-speed local Web Workers.

2. What Data Is Processed Locally vs Server-Side?

Local Canvas Operations (100% Offline):Crop, Resize, Rotate, Filters, Compression, Watermarking, PDF generation, and EXIF removal. When you run these tools, your files never leave your device memory and are automatically cleared when you close your tab.
Optional Server Database & API Sandbox:Only when you explicitly choose to save a project to your dashboard (`/api/projects`), submit feedback (`/api/feedback`), or make direct requests to our developer REST endpoint (`/api/v1/transform`) does data transit across secure HTTPS to our PostgreSQL clusters.

3. EXIF & Geolocation Data Protection

Many digital photographs contain embedded camera metadata (EXIF headers), including exact GPS coordinates, date taken, serial numbers, and camera model specifications. Our built-in EXIF Viewer & Privacy Remover tool allows you to inspect and completely strip this hidden data before sharing photos online.

4. Third-Party Analytics & Cookies

We utilize standard, privacy-preserving, anonymous performance monitoring to track overall website uptime and browser compatibility. We do not use third-party ad tracking or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Contacting Our Data Protection Officer
